Each of the four bedrooms upstairs has its own air conditioning unit. Set it independently of the other rooms. The remote hangs on the wall by the door in every bedroom.
Downstairs there is a single, more powerful unit. It covers the shared space: the living room, the kitchen and the dining area.
Set the temperature however suits you.
